ProFeed is an Argentinean company dedicated to the design, development and production of customized mineral premixes for ruminants, providing technical and strategic support in animal nutrition.
The Challenge
ProFeed needed to implement new software to manage ingredient formulations and the production of animal premixes.
At the same time, the company needed full traceability of all ingredients and finished products, including production batches, a complete history of supply purchases and detailed records of every sale and product delivered.
The Solution
Tryton was a natural choice because:

- It includes modules to track the steps in the production process, from raw materials to finished products.
- It also integrates accounting, purchasing, sales, and the management of payments and third-party accounts.
The Implementation
The implementation was based on standard Tryton modules, but many customizations were made to meet the specific needs of the company's business. The system was also localized to comply with Argentine legislation.
Training was also provided to the staff responsible for the different areas, including production and administration.
Finally, the system was installed and tuned on a dedicated server.
Results
ProFeed is very satisfied with Tryton because it allows them to maintain complete traceability of everything that is purchased, produced and delivered to customers.
The implementation scheme also allows them to access the system from anywhere at any time.
